Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance

Our approach to integrating ESG considerations in property investments is underpinned by our ESG Policy, ESG Implementation Standards and our guiding principles of creating:

  • Exemplary buildings benefitting the environment by striving for maximum carbon reduction and resource efficiency, renewing rather than re-building.
  • Happy, healthy and thriving places to live and/or work, breathing new life into tired buildings to support the livelihood of workers, residents and the local community.
  • Development that is truly sustainable, conceived in collaboration with the local stakeholders so that it addresses the needs and aspirations of the entire community and delivers better outcomes for all.

As a firm we:

  • Are guided by robust governance arrangements and risk management procedures.
  • Have a track record of supporting community initiatives and charities e.g., Pathways to Property, Land Aid and XLP.
  • Encourage wider female participation and engagement in the industry through mentorship, school talks, participation in industry initiatives. Signed the Real Estate Balance CEO 10 Commitments for Diversity pledge.
  • Operate a zero-to landfill office.
  • Are committed to become carbon neutral through carbon reduction initiatives, such as procuring renewable electricity for the office from the end of 2021, optimising business travel and carbon offsetting.
  • Have signed up to the Considerate Constructor Scheme.
