Salford City Council’s planning committee approved the scheme on Star Island, Salford Quays, Greater Manchester on the 19th of March.
Situated adjacent to Media City within Salford Quays, Star Island is just 2 miles to the south west of Manchester City Centre. Overall the development will include up to 1,490 homes, commercial, retail and leisure spaces, two hotels, a lido into the St Francis Basin, a multi-storey car park with a rooftop play area including a climbing wall, floating gardens.
