More recognition for Frogmore Sponsored, Alistair Brownlee.

Frogmore sponsored triathlete, Alistair Brownlee, was presented the UK Sport Award at the Sports Journalist Association (SJA) Annual Sports Awards lunch yesterday, 9th December 2009.
UK Sport Chair, Baroness Sue Campbell, said: “I am delighted to have presented Alistair with the UK Sport award at the SJA Sports Awards. He has had a tremendous 2009, culminating in that stunning win on the Gold Coast to clinch the world crown, and thoroughly deserves to be recognised for his achievements. He is one of our brightest prospects for 2012 and I wish him continued success.”
The UK Sport award is presented to the athlete UK Sport considers to have achieved continued success over the course of the year whilst conducting themselves in the right manner and being a role model to all.
In addition to winning the UK Sport Award, Alistair also made the final six in the SJA Sportsman of the Year Award alongside Phillips Idowu, Andrew Strauss, Tom Daley, Andy Murray and the eventual winner, Jenson Button.
