Frogmore Teams compete in LandAid’s Steptober Challenge

Frogmore Teams compete in LandAid’s Steptober Challenge – October 2021

This year two teams from Frogmore took part in LandAid’s Steptober challenge. Steptober is a walking event where property professionals compete to take as many steps as possible during the first two weeks of October raising funds for LandAid, a charity aiming to end youth homelessness.

Frogmore’s teams comprised ‘Michael’s Movers’ (Michael Stout, Tim Allibone, Simon Casey & Jacquie Carroll) and ‘Steps Tribute Band’ (John Matthews, Andy Rogers, Hanne Puttonen & Ellen Macintyre).

Steps Tribute Band took 599,908 steps and Michael’s Movers took 662,408, totalling 1,262,316 steps for Frogmore!

Each year LandAid invests around £2m in projects to provide accommodation for young homeless people. (See landaid.org)

Frogmore’s aim is to help raise as much as possible for LandAid by participating on their Fundraising Committee and taking part in events such as Steptober, LandAid Day and the annual 10k Run and Sleep-out.
