Amazing public art unveiled at the Ruby Zoe hotel, Notting Hill Gate

Amazing public Ruby Zoe hotel

This amazing public art has been unveiled at the Ruby Zoe hotel at Notting Hill Gate. Frogmore commissioned eight glass mosaics from British-Trinidadian artist Zak Ové for the ground floor facade of the hotel. The mosaics celebrate the rich heritage of Notting Hill and Zak Ove’s own Caribbean heritage and connection to the Notting Hill carnival. Jumbie Jubilation consists of eight floor-to-ceiling glass mosaic panels that depict a lively carnival procession. Each panel is designed based on Ové’s artistic practice, incorporating elements from his abstract works and sculptures. The artwork combines vibrant colours, movement, and shapes to create a joyous and celebratory procession across the panels.

Frogmore completed construction of the hotel, which was pre-let to Ruby Hotels, in May 2023 and sold the investment to Deka earlier this year.
