Patrick Smith is a Chartered Surveyor with 36 years of UK real estate experience. Patrick left Frogmore in August 2026 to become CEO of Greenham Trust, a registered charity that distributes surplus income and profits from its real estate portfolio. He remains a consultant to the firm and a member of the Frogmore’s Investment Committee.
Patrick joined Frogmore in 1998 and was involved in Frogmore’s acquisitions over 28 years’ worth c£3bn. These included investments such as Centre Point – iconic office tower in the heart of London; The Chilterns – luxurious residential scheme in Marylebone, London and Notting Hill Gate Estate – mixed use investment as part of Notting Hill High Street, London. Additionally, Patrick worked closely with Paul White during the Management Buyout (MBO) of Frogmore Estates plc in 2001.
Patrick started his career with Norwich Union and joined King Sturge & Co. (now merged with JLL), as part of its National Investment Agency Team in 1990. In 1995, he moved to Moorfield Estates plc where he was responsible for acquisition and asset management of its UK property portfolio.
Patrick is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
